Fruit Kabobs With Salad and Raspberry Dressing
3 Fresh Peaches (Pitted)
18 Fresh Cherries (Pitted)
3 Fresh Plums (Pitted)
2 TBS. Fresh Lemon Juice
2 TBS. Good Natured Family Farms Local Honey
Six 12-inch Kabob Skewers
Soak the skewers in water for 30 minutes. Cut the peaches and plums into wedges. Thread the peaches, plums and cherries alternating onto skewers.
Drizzle with honey and fresh lemon juice. Grill each kabob until lightly browned. Pineapple and bananas are also great on the skewers.
Raspberry Salad Dressing
1 Cup Plain Yogurt
1/2 Cup Fresh Raspberries
1 TBS. Red Wine Vinegar
2 tsp. Brown Sugar
In a blender, combine the yogurt, raspberries, vinegar and sugar. Blend until smooth and refrigerate until chilled.
Salad
1 Bunch Hen House Market Locally Grown Lettuce and Greens
To Assemble: Place lettuce and greens on a platter. Place kabobs on top and drizzle with Raspberry Salad Dressing.
Jasper's Notes: A great way to bring dessert out to the grill. Fruit kabobs are a big hit whenever they're served! They're good anytime of year, but SO much better made with fresh fruit in the summer! They're perfect for picnics and parties, but don't wait special occasions to serve something so appealing, nutritious and versatile.
