"ready to eat food products"... a simple and accurate description according to the dictionary, but only the beginning of what our Hen House Delis have become today. At one time, a deli meant sliced meats and cheeses but today we offer with pride, not only a broad selection of meats and cheeses at a variety of prices, but also an enticing selection of restaurant quality, fully prepared appetizers, salads, vegetables, entrees, sandwiches, imported and domestic cheeses, party trays, packaged "HMR" (home meal replacement) grab-&-go meals and tempting desserts... now that's progress! I'm sure it's no accident that "delicious" follows delicatessen in the dictionary.
