Losing weight is a constant battle for millions of Americans trying to adopt a complete lifestyle change. For extra motivation to stick to your diet and exercise, Alli™ may be another option you have considered.

Facts about Alli™

  • Alli™ is the only FDA approved over-the-counter weight loss medication. It is currently available without a prescription at most retail pharmacies.
  • Over-the-counter Alli™ is orlistat 60 mg
  • Alli™ is for people > 18 years old with a BMI >30 or with a BMI >27 and health risks such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart disease or diabetes.
  • Studies show patients taking Alli™ along with a low-fat/reduced-calorie diet and exercise lost 50% more weight than those on a low-fat/reduced-calorie diet and exercise alone.
  • Alli™ does not suppress your appetite or increase your metabolism.  It works by blocking your body's absorption of up to 25-30% of the fat you eat at each meal.  If you skip a meal, or eat something with no fat in it, Alli™ does not need to be taken.
  • Vitamins A, D, E, and K need some fat to be absorbed into your system. Since Alli™ blocks fat from being absorbed into your body, you may not be getting enough of these nutrients. Take a multi-vitamin 2

hours before or 2 hours after Alli™ to stay nourished.
